Commencement Open House
All graduating undergrads will receive a series of emails from Dean Lang inviting them to register for the college’s Commencement Open House, which will be held from 2:00–3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3 in the Hintz Family Alumni Center.
- Wednesday, April 3 – Invitation sent to students from the college
- Friday, April 5 – Email headers and social media graphics sent to academic units. Feel free to encourage students to check their emails and register using the official registration form that will be sent from the college.
- Wednesday, April 10 – Reminder email sent to students from the college
- Wednesday, April 17 – Final reminder email sent to students from the college
- Friday, April 19 – A list of attendees sent to academic units from the college
- Wednesday, April 24 – Invitation sent to faculty and staff

Be sure to share information about your department’s major marshal(s) on social media. The college’s Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter accounts will be posting about each of the student marshals, and we encourage you to share and retweet those posts.
Please encourage students and families to share their commencement photos and experiences using #PSUGrad and #PSULiberalArtsGrad on social media.
Recent Graduates
Each graduating student will receive an email a few weeks after graduation with some tips on how to stay active with the College of the Liberal Arts and Penn State as alumni. All graduating students will be added to our recent grad email list, which we communicate with throughout the year.
