Vama Maniar

Vama manages the college’s LinkedIn page and writes student and alumni spotlight stories for Penn State News. She is a fourth-year Penn State student majoring in English with a minor in Business, an Honors student, and a Paterno Fellow. The Schreyer Scholar and Paterno Fellow completed a program this past spring at Columbia University. She has been interning with the College of the Liberal Arts for 2.5 years, and this summer, she is also interning with Simon Sinek’s The Optimism Company. Vama is the founder of @mindbuild.co, a mindset and motivation platform catering to women empowerment with over 54,000+ followers on Instagram. She is now a proud retired member of the Penn State women’s D1 fencing team.
